PROGRESS

Unfortunately, due to the INTENSE workload Iman and I faced in other subjects, we couldn't fully include everything we wanted to within the prototype. This includes fully completed illustrations and animations which Iman was in charge of and actually starting our app in Unity. Despite that though, we made sure to work with what we had! I had created and completed all the UI and Wireframes in Figma and instead of the new animations, we just recycled our mockup ones from project 2 instead (which did the job and delivers the vibe we're going for in our end result!) I also created some of the onboarding images on Canva to fully and clearly deliver the instructions to users. Here's a summary of our progress so far:

What we've done:

  • Figma UI and Wireframes
  • Prototype UI interactions on Figma
  • Created app images and logo on Canva

What we've yet to do:

  • Audio Creation (narrations, sound effects)
  • Animations and Illustrations
  • Interactions Within The Animations
  • Creating AR Markers
  • Starting our Unity Project and doing the Scripting

REFLECTION

SIGHHHH, I'm not totally sure what to add on here if I'm being completely honest... Though if I were to reflect on the whole process and journey, I think the most important lesson learnt here is learning how to manage time between all 3 and 5 subjects (Iman the former, me the latter) especially when a slump or sickness hits. There's certainly lots to do moving forward to make sure our app is the best it can be but I believe Iman and I can do it together—with better time management skills and lots of trial and error in the future.
