EXERCISES + LECTURES
Week 1-2
Weeks 1 and 2 were spent doing the first part of our first assignment—exercise 1! Alongside that, we were introduced to website design, understanding website structures and organising web content and the rest of our assignments for the semester.
Websites are typically divided into three key elements:
Header - Top section of a webpage. Usually contains the website's logo, navigation menu, and contact information.
Body - The main content area of a webpage. Usually contains text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements.
Footer - Located at the bottom of a webpage. Usually includes copyright information, links to important pages, and contact details.
Organising Content:
Use headings (H1, H2, H3, etc.) to create a hierarchical structure.
Navigation Menus:
Use clear and concise labels for menu items.
Week 3
In week 3, we learnt the basics of HTML and how to create a website! We also did some coding alongside learning this as an activity! We also finished working on the 2nd part of our 1st assignment this week as well—exercise 2!

Week 4
In this week, we also started working on our 2nd project, our web redesign proposal! This is an assignment where we were to pick a badly designed website and redesign it to make it better in terms of interactive design principles!
Week 5
This week, we did more HTML (yippee!) and did more practise websites to exercise our front-end coding knowledge!

Week 6
In week 6, Mr Shamsul taught us about selectors and we were to complete some homework on the topic so we could get familiar with it!

Alongside this, we also submitted our 2nd project, our website redesign proposal!
Week 7
This week we also started on our 2nd assignment, our Figma prototype!
Week 8
Week 8 was a self-directed learning week where Mr Shamsul gave us some homework called 'The Selector Quiz'
Week 9
Unfortunately, I couldn't attend class on week 9 as I was sick with food poisoning ( :'D ). However despite that, I managed to complete and submit our 2nd assignment, our Figma Prototype.
Week 10
In week 10, we did a layout tutorial!
Alongside this, we finally started working on our final assignment—bringing our web design to life with coding (EEK...)
Week 11-14
Weeks 11 to 14 were fully consultation and I managed to submit my final assignment in the last week. Check it out here!
